14 March 2019 – FILMED IN TIME – by Michael Burton
FILMED IN TIME
by
Michael Burton
Brent Scholes has been working on a large collection of 16mm colour films made
largely in the 1980’s in and around Dereham by Michael.
They show many of the people working in town, on the market, and local shops
that are now closed. Some also show farms and wildlife around the district.
The films are now digitized ready to show so that you might be able to spot a
relative or realise what has changed in the time. It makes fascinating viewing
even if you are new to the area.
The show is at;
Dereham Library
7.30pm
Thursday 14th March 2019.
If you are interested in coming can you please let the Library
know so seating can be planned ASAP.
The event is hosted by the ‘Friends of Dereham
Library’. There is a small charge by the library of
£1.
